Ken Harrop

As CEO, Ken is responsible for defining the strategic vision for Infinitive Analytics and delivering effective solutions to clients. A true leader in the field, Ken spent 10+ years at AOL developing and implementing full Web analytics capabilities, including enterprise-reporting systems and tools for business intelligence, audience measurement and online advertising. Many of the audience tracking and segmentation metrics, processes and techniques came to be recognized as industry standards.

As AOL’s VP for Metrics and Forecasting, he played a key leadership role in designing, developing and scaling the company’s advertising systems. Ken led large-scale technology implementations, including custom software development, platform deployments and broad-based data integration. Most recently, Ken led the implementation of Omniture’s SiteCatalyst web analytics technology across AOL’s vast network of websites and products – the world’s largest Omniture implementation. He also developed and managed a team of web analytics professionals.

Prior to joining AOL, Ken spent eight years working on key customer-facing business and finance processes, as well as technology and architecture strategy, for SIGNET Bank, a mid-Atlantic commercial bank.

Co-founder of Infinitive Analytics, Denis McFarlane is founder and chief executive officer of Infinitive, a management consultancy based in Northern Virginia that was founded in 2003. The company was named on the 2008 Inc. 5000 list, which celebrates the fastest-growing private companies in America. Infinitive was also just honored as one of Consulting Magazine’s Best Small Firms to Work for in 2008, and received an honorable mention in Washingtonian Magazine’s "Great Places to Work” in 2007.

He has consulted for Fortune 50 and start-up clients alike for more than 15 years, specializing in solving complex problems in challenging business environments. He has led large-scale implementation efforts as well as smaller strategic efforts and has overseen and supported large transformation initiatives for a number of clients. During his consulting career, Mr. McFarlane has worked with an impressive list of clients including Time Warner, AOL, MCI, Circuit City, Network Solutions, Cable & Wireless and Arbitron, among others. Previously, he was vice president of sales and business development for Accenture’s Business Launch Center.
